Job Summary
Navnit Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Application Support Engineer to manage utility and backend operations across internal systems. The role involves handling user management, system configurations, issue resolution, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Execute utility-related tasks such as user creation, updates, and system configurations with high accuracy and within defined timelines (TAT/SLA)
Manage onboarding of POSP and internal users, including login setup, access configuration, and resolving onboarding issues
Perform petrol pump user creation and mapping, ensuring data accuracy and resolving mappingrelated issues
Configure commission structures and MIS as per business requirements, validate outputs, and coordinate for issue resolution
Handle day-to-day application support issues (login errors, data mismatch, mapping issues, etc.), perform first-level troubleshooting, and escalate with proper details when required
Act as a coordination point between Operations and Technology teams, ensuring regular follow-ups and timely closure of all tasks and issues
Maintain trackers, reports, and records using MS Excel / Google Sheets, and share regular updates highlighting progress and risks
Maintain proper documentation of processes, common issues, and resolutions
Provide user support by resolving system-related queries and guiding users on platform usage
Provide support to the CRM Team as required
Required Skills
Strong ownership and accountability
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, basic formulas)
Basic understanding of system workflows and business applications
Basic knowledge of APIs and tools like Postman
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
Preferred Skills
2–3 years of experience in Application Support / Backend Operations
Exposure to Insurance, Broking, or Fintech industry (preferred)
Basic knowledge of SQL (not mandatory)
Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira)
Technically sound with ability to understand and troubleshoot system-level issues
Educational Qualification
Graduate (Computer Science or related field preferred)
