Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Integration and Management (SIAM).
- Strong understanding of service management frameworks and best practices related to multi-vendor environments.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management within complex IT landscapes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues across integrated service components effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and vendors.
- Capability to work with monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively identify potential service disruptions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Service Integration and Management (SIAM).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
