Job title: Application Packaging Engineer
Location: Pan India
Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Package and repackage applications for enterprise deployment using tools such as Microsoft SCCM (MECM), Intune, InstallShield, AdminStudio, or Wise Package Studio.
Perform application installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting in different environments.
Create MSI, MST, and EXE packages for application deployment.
Conduct application compatibility testing for Windows OS upgrades and patches.
Manage software distribution and updates through SCCM/MECM, Intune, or other endpoint management tools.
Perform application virtualization using technologies like App-V or MSIX.
Maintain documentation for packaging procedures, deployment instructions, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security teams to ensure successful deployments.
Provide L2/L3 support for application packaging issues and deployment failures.
Follow enterprise ITIL processes including change, incident, and problem management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4–8+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment.
Strong experience with SCCM/MECM, Intune, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
Hands-on experience with MSI packaging, AdminStudio, InstallShield, or similar tools.
Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and application compatibility.
Experience with application virtualization technologies (App-V, MSIX).
Familiarity with Active Directory and endpoint management.
