📢 We're Hiring | Application & Scientific Affairs Manager | Genient Technologies | Noida
Genient Technologies is a precision genomics and molecular diagnostics company headquartered in India, with partnerships across the USA, France, South Korea, Germany, and Turkey. We work at the intersection of NGS platforms, clinical genomics, AMR diagnostics, oncology, and infectious disease diagnostics — advancing genomics-based healthcare that is data-driven, locally relevant, and globally credible.
We are looking for a technically strong Application & Scientific Affairs Manager — the face of Genient's scientific expertise in the field. This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role demanding demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Real-Time PCR (qPCR). The ideal candidate identifies application gaps in customer workflows, proposes Genient solutions backed by data, and closes the loop with technical validation — across pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales.
🔬 What You'll Do
▸ Hands-on NGS application support: sample QC, library prep, sequencing setup, run monitoring, bioinformatics interpretation
▸ qPCR support across SYBR and probe-based workflows — training, troubleshooting, demos
▸ Assay validation, workflow implementation, and method optimisation at customer sites
▸ Technical presentations, CME seminars, and hands-on workshops for labs, hospitals, research institutes, and pharma
▸ Partner with sales on tenders, competitor comparisons, and pre-sales discussions
▸ Contribute to Voice-of-Customer feedback, application notes, and field case studies
🧬 What You Must Bring
▸ M.Sc. / M.Tech. / Ph.D. — Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, or related field
▸ 3–6 years in application support / technical specialist / customer-facing roles in IVD or molecular diagnostics
▸ Mandatory hands-on experience: Illumina (MiSeq/NextSeq/NovaSeq), MGI/DNBSEQ, Ion Torrent, and/or Oxford Nanopore
▸ Library prep across WGS, WES, Amplicon, RNA-Seq, Targeted Panels
▸ qPCR: Ct analysis, melt curve interpretation, contamination and inhibition troubleshooting
▸ Clinical NGS applications: oncology panels, infectious disease, NIPT, HLA typing, pharmacogenomics
✅ You'll Thrive Here If You Are
▸ A self-starter with genuine ownership mindset
▸ Commercially aware with a consultative approach to customers
▸ Comfortable navigating hospitals, academic institutes, and industry simultaneously
▸ Willing to travel extensively across India
▸ Familiar with NABL, or ICMR frameworks (advantage)
📍 Location: Noida, India (Pan-India travel role) 🕐 Type: Full-time | On-site
