About the Job
Primary Role:
Medekom is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Application Executive to strengthen its Simulation Team in North India. The role focuses on advancing simulation-based healthcare education through expert training, product demonstrations, and institutional support. The position requires strong clinical insight, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patient safety through experiential learning.
Job Description:
Clinical & Educational Expertise:
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of medical and nursing curricula, clinical workflows, and evidence-based practices aligned with current healthcare standards.
- Demonstrate strong command over medical procedures and concepts with hands-on clinical exposure, enabling confident teaching, demonstration, and supervision of clinical skills.
- The role also involves active participation in CMEs, national conferences, and academic forums where Medekom contributes to knowledge sharing and professional development.
Training & Program Delivery:
- Plan and conduct simulation-based workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Training of Trainers (ToTs), and clinical skill enhancement programs.
- Deliver structured hands-on training using task trainers, manikins, and high-fidelity simulators.
- Guide institutions in effective utilization of simulation labs and integration of simulation into academic curricula.
Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support:
- Conduct professional pre-sales and post-sales demonstrations of simulation manikins and related solutions.
- Lead and manage product demonstrations for tenders and institutional evaluations.
- Support the sales team in preparing technical specifications and tender documentation.
Implementation & Coordination:
- Coordinate product installations and oversee end-user training at customer sites.
- Collaborate closely with sales, service, and internal application teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Travel independently or with cross-functional teams as required (approximately 70–80% travel).
Reporting & Collaboration:
- Provide regular activity reports to the Application Manager and Business Head.
- Act as a key interface between Medekom and partner institutions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills:
- Strong interest in simulation-based education; prior experience in SBE is preferred
- Relevant certifications or diploma in Simulation-Based Education will be an added advantage
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively and participate in conferences/CMEs
Qualification:
- B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 1-2 years critical care experience (ICU/EMD/OT)
- or M.Sc. Nursing with minimum 1 year experience
- or BDS / BAMS / BHMS with minimum 1 year clinical experience
- or BE/B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in medical simulation
Experience:
- Minimum 2 yrs experience into medical simulation
