The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Video Management Software (VMS), Video Analytics, and Access Control Systems. The role requires strong coordination capabilities with remote L2 and L3 support teams to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution. The candidate will also work closely with customers to understand their operational requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions and support.
Responsibilities
- Hardware - Installation and configuration of CCTV Cameras, Access Control Devices, Network Switches, Servers, Storage Systems
- Software- Implementation and support of Video Management Systems (VMS), Video Analytics Platforms, Access Control Management Software, Remote Monitoring Solutions
- Networking & Infrastructure - Strong understanding of TCP/IP Networking, LAN/WAN Infrastructure, IP Addressing, Router & Switch Configuration, PoE (Power over Ethernet)
- System & Computer Skills - Basic computer hardware troubleshooting, Windows OS installation and configuration, Remote desktop setup and support, Backup and storage management
- Project Management & Coordination - Coordination with cross-functional technical teams, Client communication and requirement management, Problem-solving and troubleshooting, Time management and task prioritization, Documentation and report preparation
- Other Tools - Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience working on projects related to: Metro Rail, Airports, Safe City / Smart City Projects
- Strong technical communication skills
- Basic coding knowledge across relevant technologies/languages
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
