Role Overview:
We are looking for an Application Engineer to support the design and execution of industrial automation and machine vision systems. This role focuses on converting concepts into structured designs, BOMs, and executable solutions, working closely with the execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert conceptual ideas into structured system designs and documentation.
- Prepare BOMs and assist in selecting components for the system. (cameras, sensors, PLCs, actuators, etc.).
- Create basic system layouts and define sequence of operations.
- Support costing and feasibility analysis.
- Coordinate with PLC programmers, panel builders, and fabrication vendors.
- Track project execution and assist during system integration.
- Provide on-site support during installation and commissioning.
Required Skills:
- Thorough Understanding of industrial automation systems(Drives and Motion Control, Sensors, Actuators, PLC programming, Power and Electrical Components).
- Hands-on exposure to industrial cameras and sensors (setup, wiring, or integration).
- Ability to identify part feasibility.
- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
Preferred Experience:
- 2–3 years in Automation / System integration companies.
- Exposure to Cognex, Keyence, Sick, Omron, or similar systems.
- Experience working on real industrial applications.
Bonus:
- Experience with embedded systems or microcontroller-based implementations in industrial applications.
- Exposure to edge computing setups (industrial PCs, vision systems, or real-time data processing).
- Understanding of hardware-software integration in automation systems.
Important Note:
Candidates must have real exposure to hand-on industrial experience in system and application designing. Purely academic/project-only profiles will not be considered.
