The Application Engineer will work from home in India and support US operations in the Industrial Hot Water division. The engineer will be responsible to provide 100% on-time technical support to customer, assist them by providing technical expertise and work upon thermal design applications.
This position will report to Director - Industrial Hot Water USA.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and thermal design calculations with complete documentation
- Develop P&IDs and technical datasheets for selected equipment
- Perform heat-load calculations as per international standards
- Design optimized hot water systems based on customer requirements
- Collect technical inputs from customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with vendors for technical and commercial quotations
Qualifications:
- Strong thermodynamics and thermal engineering fundamentals
- Knowledge of ASME standards for hot and cold water applications
- Experience in piping design and mass & energy balance calculations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and interpreting P&IDs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in virtual global teams
