About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Security Specialist to join our dynamic IT team at Cargill. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and supporting SAP security systems across various modules, including S4 HANA, Fiori, and Hana DB Security. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP environment, supporting business operations, and facilitating seamless application deployment and updates. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in SAP security and a passion for implementing innovative solutions within a global enterprise.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in SAP security configuration and management. Relevant experience typically ranges from 5 to 8 years or more in the following areas:
- S4 HANA Security, including role and authorization management
- Fiori Security configurations and deployment
- Hana Database Security and security remediation practices
- Optional skills include SAP BTP Security, SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), or other cloud solutions security
Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to security management. A relevant certification in SAP Security or related fields is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Setting up and maintaining SAP security configurations such as roles, authorizations, and profiles to meet user and business requirements.
- Developing and recommending improvements to standard SAP security support processes and procedures.
- Performing programming, configuration, testing, and deployment of fixes or updates for application versions.
- Maintaining open communication channels with end-users and providing support for standard and moderately complex application issues.
- Conducting advanced application support activities to ensure business continuity and security.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business partners to ensure configurations align with organizational standards and project objectives.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and prioritizing incident tickets and user requests related to SAP security.
- Managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
