We are looking for a skilled Data Integration & Data Engineering Expert with Robust experience in Informatica, SQL, Python, and modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and ADLS. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows, leveraging both traditional and cloud-native tools to support our data ecosystem.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced data processing solutions, enhance data architectures, and contribute to our data modernization efforts.
What You’ll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Informatica, Databricks, ADF, ADLS, and PySpark.
- Design and implement scalable data workflows that support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write efficient, high-quality code across multiple platforms including Informatica, Databricks, ADF, and SQL.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for data pipeline development.
- Support data transformation and integration processes across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Document processes, workflows, and standards to ensure maintainability and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and workflows.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and cloud platforms.
You will report to Head of Applications Claims, Finance, Reserving & Data Analytics.
What You Will BRING
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills And Abilities
- Relevant years of hands-on experience in data integration, ETL development, and data pipeline management.
- Proven expertise in Informatica, SQL, and Python.
- Robust experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, ADF, ADLS, and PySpark.
- Knowledge of data lake architectures, data warehousing, and modern storage technologies such as Blob Storage, Parquet, and Data Lake.
- Experience with Autosys workflow scheduling and automation is required.
- Ability to code fluently in Informatica, Databricks, ADF, ADLS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Exposure to R/Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work Self-supportedly and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Desired Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Prior experience working on cloud data platform implementations.
- Knowledge of Autosys, and experience with cloud workflow orchestration tools like ADF.
- Exposure to DevOps practices in data engineering.
