About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer with expertise in Python and Go to join our dynamic development team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based security platform, which leverages AI and data engineering pipelines to provide real-time threat detection and response. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS application development, web technologies, and a passion for building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. As part of our innovative team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into functional products, optimize performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a higher qualification is preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in SaaS application development using Python, Django, Go, and React.
- Strong understanding of web development processes, including design, development, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and SaaS applications is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data engineering, AI/ML pipelines, and performance testing frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities and experience working within agile teams.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and enhance existing functionalities using Python, Go, and related technologies.
- Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible code.
- Reuse and modify existing components to improve functionality without disrupting current features.
- Integrate code with other team members' contributions to build comprehensive security solutions.
- Optimize application components for maximum performance across diverse devices and browsers.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate actively in agile development cycles, contributing to the design and implementation of interactive, single-page web applications.
- Work collaboratively with interaction designers to develop accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
- Coordinate with testers to develop and refine test cases, ensuring robust application performance.
- Engage with product owners for user story creation, refinement, and backlog grooming.
- Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
