Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Application Consultant specializing in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), you will utilize your expertise in developing message flows using various ESB tools and technologies. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of web services, software development lifecycle, and relational databases to deliver integration solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop Message Flows: Design, develop, and test message flows using ESB tools and technologies such as IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule, ensuring seamless integration of disparate systems.
- Analyze Problems and Requirements: Perform problem analysis, requirement analysis, and create high-level and low-level designs to meet business needs and ensure smooth integration of systems.
- Implement Web Services: Apply knowledge of web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, SSL/TLS encryption, and decryption to ensure secure data exchange between systems.
- Manage Integration Environment: Configure and maintain the integration environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of integrated systems.
- Collaborate on Solution Delivery: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- ESB Tools and Technologies: Exposure to developing message flows using various ESB tools and technologies, such as IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule.
- Web Services Knowledge: Experience working with web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, SSL/TLS encryption, and decryption.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Exposure to the entire software development lifecycle, including problem analysis, requirement analysis, high-level and low-level design, development, testing, documentation, and production support.
- Relational Database Foundation: Experience working with relational databases like IBM DB2 and Oracle.
- Integration Environment Configuration: Exposure to configuring and maintaining the integration environment for optimal performance and reliability.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Advanced ESB Tool Knowledge: Exposure to multiple ESB tools and technologies beyond the required list, such as Dell Boomi or Talend, would be beneficial for developing message flows and integrating disparate systems.
- Additional Web Services Protocols: Experience working with other web services protocols, including REST and GraphQL, could enhance secure data exchange capabilities between systems.
- Database Management Skills: Familiarity with database management systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL, may be advantageous in managing and integrating relational databases.
