Role Summary
We are seeking an
Application Analytics I – Planning Analytics professional to support and enhance Arthrex's IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) platform. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on Planning Analytics experience who want to expand their skills in application administration, infrastructure support, development, and enterprise planning within a global environment. The successful candidate will support IBM Planning Analytics Local (TM1), Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE), helping maintain platform stability, usability, and performance while working with cubes, dimensions, TurboIntegrator (TI) processes, security, reporting, and end-user support. The role supports a Microsoft Windows Server-based virtualized environment and involves application server administration, software installation, upgrades, deployments, troubleshooting, platform administration, release management, environment maintenance, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot application issues, perform incident triage, support end users, and collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams. A key responsibility is supporting Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE), including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user assistance, while maintaining a customer-focused approach and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is an entry-level to early-career individual contributor role for candidates with foundational Planning Analytics experience who are looking to grow into a broader Planning Analytics administrator and developer position while working alongside senior professionals in Arthrex's global Data & Analytics Center of Excellence.
Role Description
- Provide day-to-day support for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) applications and associated planning and reporting processes.
- Support the administration and maintenance of Planning Analytics Local (PAL) environments, ensuring platform stability, availability, and usability.
- Assist with the management and support of the Microsoft Windows Server virtual machines hosting Planning Analytics components.
- Monitor, prioritize, triage, and resolve application incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues in accordance with established support processes.
- Support Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE), including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, connectivity issues, and user access administration.
- Provide end-user support, training, and guidance for Planning Analytics tools while delivering a high level of customer service.
- Assist with Planning Analytics software upgrades, patching activities, deployments, environment refreshes, and release validation activities.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application, infrastructure, and user-related issues, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Participate in application testing, change management, release activities, and production support processes.
- Assist with platform monitoring, backup validation, performance analysis, and operational maintenance activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support Planning Analytics development activities, including exposure to TurboIntegrator (TI) processes, dimensions, cubes, rules, security, and reporting objects.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, application, and integration teams to support platform reliability and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Assist with user provisioning, security administration, and access management activities within the Planning Analytics platform.
- Support integration points between Planning Analytics and other enterprise applications, databases, and reporting platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform optimization, support efficiency, and enhanced user experience.
- Work closely with senior Planning Analytics administrators and developers to expand knowledge of platform administration, troubleshooting, and development best practices.
Skill Requirement
Primary Skills (Must Have Skills)
- 2+ years supporting enterprise applications, analytics platforms, or planning solutions.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), or Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) in either a support, administration, development, or business-user capacity.
- Experience supporting Windows Server or virtualized application environments.
- Understanding of application administration, security, and user support.
- Experience troubleshooting application and end-user issues.
- Exposure to software installations, upgrades, and deployment activities.
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, or reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience creating documentation and support procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
- Desire to develop Planning Analytics administration and development skills.
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)

Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s / master's degree in computer engineering/computer science or any similar field
- IBM Planning Analytics Certification Preferred
- 2+ years of relevant Planning Analytics Local functional consulting experience in enterprise/global environments
