Key Responsibilities• Work on Azure SQL Database & Azure SQL Managed Instance projects
• Provide hands-on DBA support and troubleshooting
• Guide teams transitioning from on-prem SQL to Azure
• Recommend improvements for performance, monitoring, and alerting
• Support multi-region setups and disaster recovery strategies
• Assist in failover testing, optimization, and documentation
Required Skills• Strong experience as SQL DBA with Azure exposure
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance (MI)
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or AMBA
• Good understanding of performance tuning & monitoring strategies
• Experience in multi-region architecture or DR setups (beyond basic failover)
• Ability to provide performance and monitoring recommendations to client teams
• Strong SQL fundamentals and troubleshooting skills
