Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Appian Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Appian BPM applications. The ideal candidate should be skilled in delivering scalable and efficient business process automation solutions using the Appian low-code platform, and able to lead development activities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom Appian applications to automate business processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop integrations with third-party systems using Appian plug-ins, Web APIs (REST/SOAP), and other integration tools.
- Design data models, process models, interfaces, reports, and rules using Appian best practices.
- Perform application testing (unit, integration, UAT), debugging, and optimization to ensure performance and reliability.
- Maintain documentation for solutions, design artifacts, and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with Appian platform features and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Appian BPM development.
- Strong understanding of Appian architecture, design patterns, and deployment process.
- Hands-on experience with Appian versions [mentions preferred version, e.g., 21.x or later].
- Proficient in building Appian components like SAIL interfaces, process models, records, sites, CDTs, and reports.
- Solid experience with Appian Integration, Web APIs, plug-ins, and connected systems.
- Proficient in Appian App Packages, Import/Export, and Deployment.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, JIRA, etc.) is a plus.
- Appian Level 1 or Level 2 certification preferred.
