Job Title: Apparel Production Supervisor

Job Summary
The Apparel Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily garment production operations, ensuring smooth workflow from cutting to finishing. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, managing workers, and ensuring timely order completion.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
* Plan and supervise daily production activities (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing)
* Ensure targets are achieved as per production schedule
* Monitor line efficiency and improve productivity
* Allocate work to operators based on skill and requirement

2. Quality Control
* Ensure garments meet required quality standards at every stage
* Identify defects (stitching, fitting, finishing) and take corrective action
* Coordinate with QC team to maintain export-level quality

3. Team Handling
* Manage tailors, helpers, and ironing staff
* Train workers on correct methods and improve skill levels
* Maintain discipline, attendance, and work culture on the floor

4. Order Execution
* Ensure proper understanding of tech packs, measurements, and specifications
* Coordinate with design / merchandising team for clarifications
* Track order progress and ensure on-time delivery

5. Material & Workflow Management
* Ensure proper usage of fabric, trims, and accessories
* Minimize wastage and control production costs
* Maintain smooth flow between cutting → stitching → finishing

6. Reporting & Coordination
* Maintain daily production reports and status updates
* Coordinate with accounts, logistics, and management teams
* Highlight delays, issues, or bottlenecks proactively

7. Compliance & Maintenance
* Ensure workplace safety and hygiene
* Maintain machines and report breakdowns
* Follow company policies and SOPs

Key Skills Required
* Strong knowledge of garment production processes
* Understanding of patterns, stitching techniques, and finishing
* Ability to manage and motivate workers
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Basic reporting and communication skills

Experience Required
* 3–7 years in garment production / factory supervision
* Experience in shirts, trousers, or similar categories preferred

Salary Range
₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience) + incentives
