Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Apparel Merchandiser based in Howrah. The Apparel Merchandiser will oversee product planning, range development, seasonal merchandising, and inventory management. The person will collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products while maintaining quality standards. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with retailers, monitoring sales trends, and driving strategies to optimize product profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to liaise with teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively
- Customer Service expertise to build and maintain positive retailer and vendor relationships
- Sales and Retail experience to analyze trends, monitor market demand, and support inventory decisions
- Marketing knowledge to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other relevant software
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Fashion Merchandising, Business, or Marketing
- Prior experience in apparel or retail merchandising is highly desirable
