Role Description
The Apparel Merchandiser will oversee end-to-end merchandise planning and coordination to meet customer demands effectively. Primary responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring product quality, analyzing trends, and optimizing inventory. The role also involves communication with vendors, monitoring sales performance, and implementing effective marketing and retail strategies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, with a minimum commitment of two years.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Experience in Sales and Retail to drive revenue and manage merchandise profitably
- Knowledge of Marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and branding
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven experience of 4+ years in apparel merchandising or a similar role
- Proficiency in inventory management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for fashion trends and understanding of consumer behavior
