Role Description The App Developer role at Car Street is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The App Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain mobile and web applications with the help of Claude AI to build a digital platform for the automotive industry that includes B2B services. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services, managing data flow between the app and internal systems, and collaborating with designers, sales, and operations teams to refine features. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing app performance, ensuring usability across devices, and participating in code reviews and documentation. The App Developer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of existing applications and help implement new digital solutions that enhance customer engagement and internal efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Software Development and Programming for mobile and/or web applications.
- Candidate should be familiar with Claude AI for coding.
- Experience working with Databases for data storage, retrieval, and application integration.
- Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies for user interface development.
- Ability to handle Integration between applications, APIs, and internal systems.
- Knowledge of common programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, React, or similar).
- Understanding of app lifecycle, version control (e.g., Git), testing practices, and deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in e-commerce, automotive, or customer-facing applications is an advantage.
