Executive - Indoor Tyre Testing Specialist

Purpose of the Job: 1. Test Tyres in an indoor testing environment and provide reliable, repeatable & reproducible test results to internal customers on time, traceable to internal/national/international standards. 2. Statistical analysis of test results to derive and provide insights to customers 3. Automate test processes for continuous improvement of efficiency, efficacy, and repeatability. 4. Identify anomaly, if any in the system and collaborate with teams to take corrective & preventive actions. Major Responsibilities: 1. Tyre testing in indoor test environment(P) 2. Inspection of incoming, in-process, test finished tyres & other accessories. Precise identification of incipient failure mode(P) 3. Interface with internal stake holders and co-ordinate with contract manpower to plan, schedule & organize tests as per the Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions(P) 4. Maintain & Calibrate equipment with ownership mindset to ensure its functions & compliance with standards along with team (P) 5. Improve Customer satisfaction through on-time delivery RRR (Reliable /Repeatable /Reproducible) test results. On time reporting of any major deviations in plan / in test results(Q) 6. Develop quality culture through absolving TQM journeys throughout the testing process as per Turtle diagram (Q) 7. Ensure safe environment & Zero safety incidents at tyre testing through safety initiatives 5S, 8D, Hazinar, HIRA (S) 8. Ensure systematic test and tyre flow management by safe handling and disposition of test tyres 9. Continuous improvement initiatives in overall testing environment (P, Q, C, D, S, M)
