Apollo is looking for a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join the Finance team. This team collaborates with many different teams firmwide including senior leadership, Finance, Internal Audit and Compliance. As well as various external parties including Funds, Separately Management Accounts and Portfolio Companies managed by Apollo. As a
Summer Intern with the Finance team, you will partner with junior and senior level professionals on a range of activities and projects to provide end to end operational support for the team. The ideal candidate will possess high learning agility, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently with collaborators at all levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Complete ownership and accountability of processes assigned. This includes data maintenance and timeliness of activity processing with adherence and evidencing of controls.
· An understanding on the synchronization and workflow of the different applications used with the Finance group on a day to day.
· Partnering and collaborating with various internal teams at Apollo at all management levels
· Updating process documentation and able to evidence controls and calculations.
· Responding to queries and building relationships, working with external parties to resolve anything pending.
· Work to improve end to end operational support including enhancement of processes & learning tools
· Responsible for ad-hoc requests
