Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative APIM Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing API solutions using modern API management platforms. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs that support critical business applications.
This role requires strong technical expertise in API design, database management, and frontend technologies, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable services using RESTful APIs
- Work extensively with Azure API Management (APIM) to publish, secure, and monitor APIs
- Manage, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability
- Develop and enhance user-facing features using JavaScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues, identifying bottlenecks and bugs
- Ensure code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
- Customize and optimize multiple applications based on business requirements
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including core concepts and best practices
- Hands-on expertise in MySQL and database management
- Solid understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
- Experience working with Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure Portal
- Junior Role: Minimum 1 year of Azure Portal/APIM experience
- Senior Role: Minimum 2+ years of Azure Portal/APIM experience
- Good understanding of API security, authentication, and performance optimization
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
