Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manages and supports API solutions using the Google Apigee platform, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Installs, configures, and maintains Linux operating systems and related applications.
- Performs regular system updates, patching, and maintenance to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
- Configures and manages network devices and services to support application and infrastructure needs.
- Maintains and administers Linux systems across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Creates and maintains accurate documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves technical issues across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Performs root cause analysis for recurring issues and implements preventive measures.
- Provides technical support to internal and external users through multiple communication channels.
- Communicates technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provisions and decommissions cloud resources including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Ensures consistent, secure, and compliant configurations across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Supports 24x7 operations through rotational shifts and ensures timely incident response.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain system stability and improve operational efficiency.
Skills Required:
Must-Have
(Ideally should be at least 3 years of hands-on with Linux Infra)
- Hands-on Experience in managing API solutions using the Google APIGEE platform
- Hands-on Experience in Setting up, configuring Linux operating systems & applications and troubleshooting them
- Regularly updating and maintaining the system to ensure optimal performance and security
- Exposure in configuring and managing network devices and services
- Exposure in Managing and maintaining Linux systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Identifying, resolving technical issues, and diagnosing the root cause of technical problems, whether hardware, software, or network-related
- Providing technical assistance to users, both internal and external, through various channels
- Communicating technical information clearly and concisely to users and stakeholders
- Setting up and tearing down cloud resources (servers, storage, networks) as needed
- Ensuring consistent and secure configurations across the cloud environment
- Support with 24x7 operations (Rotational Shifts)
- English language (verbal and written) Proficiency is must
Good-to-Have
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience as System Administrator or Network Administrator with hands-on experience
- Infrastructure Certifications related to Linux and/or Network
- Cloud Certifications related to GCP ACE
