Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll drive growth by exploring new markets, developing strategic partnerships, and leading client acquisition initiatives. You’ll analyze trends, lead a team, track performance through KPIs, and build long-term relationships that align with our company’s objectives and revenue goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships
  • Lead and mentor business development executives or associates
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Report on sales metrics and performance to senior leadership using KPIs
  • Oversee lead generation, meet targets
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales departments
  • Track performance using KPIs.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: B. Pharm or M. Pharm, B.Sc or M.Sc Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or related fields. MBA is a plus.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, business development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, CRM software and data-driven decision-making
  • ⁠Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with market research and business analytics is a plus.
