Connector Engineer

As a Connector Engineer at Apideck, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our best-in-class API connectors that power our Unified API platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to understand and implement integration requirements, and ensure that our connectors are robust, scalable, and performant. What you'll be doing: - Design and implement new API connectors from the ground up - Maintain and improve existing connectors to ensure they are up-to-date and reliable - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the functionality and capabilities of our Unified API - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision making - Contribute to our engineering best practices and tooling - Write comprehensive documentation and provide support for our integration partners What we're looking for: - 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer or software developer - Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js - Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs - Familiarity with common web technologies (HTTP, JSON, OAuth, etc.) - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Passion for building high-quality, scalable software solutions
