About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to optimize our cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) following best practices.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Configuration Management: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security, implement IAM policies, and follow best practices for data protection, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) and containerized applications using Docker.
- Incident Management & Reliability: Improve system availability, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth deployments, provide technical guidance, and document DevOps processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Cloud and DevOps engineering.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Kubernetes & Docker: Experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Logging: Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of IAM and networking security.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Knowledge of database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
