Role Description
The API Production Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The role involves overseeing API production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company quality policies. Responsibilities include managing production planning, coordinating operations to meet production targets, overseeing team performance, and ensuring optimal resource allocation. The API Production Head will also ensure adherence to safety protocols, manage budgets effectively, and work closely with other departments to drive continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Production Planning and Management
- Experience in Operations Management and Budgeting
- Proven expertise in Team Management and leadership
- Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields
- 15+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical API production, with significant time in a leadership role
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
