Hiring: API Migration / Integration Architect
We are looking for an experienced API Migration / Integration Architect to lead the modernization of legacy APIs and drive the transition to modern, scalable architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze existing legacy APIs (SOAP/XML, RPC, monolithic services) and define migration strategies.
• Design and implement modern APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC standards.
• Re-architect monolithic API services into microservices or domain-driven architectures.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, IAM, custom tokens).
• Ensure backward compatibility, versioning, and smooth cutover strategies during migration.
• Support re-hosting, re-platforming, or re-architecting of legacy services into modern frameworks.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and minimal downtime during migration activities.
• Create well-documented APIs aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
🔹 Required Skills
• Strong experience in API design, integration, and modernization
• Expertise in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs
• Experience migrating legacy APIs (SOAP/XML/RPC) to modern architectures
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and domain-driven design
• Experience implementing secure authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT, IAM)
