Job Summary:
Manages the site management of an insulation/sheet metal contract, maintain weekly job progress reports; coordinate the expedition of required material, consumables, tools equipment, etc. and site inventory of the same, represent the company regarding the contract as necessary and maintaining a high safety profile. The position involves a variety of responsibilities, including job progress reports, material inventory management, timekeeping, creating and managing miscellaneous reports, engaging in various activities, managing equipment and tool inventory, and work release and scheduling. Responsible for handling client contact and obtaining client approval. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule, according to contractual conditions, and within budget.
Manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets

- Monitor job progress through field verification of installed materials, labor hours, and overall completion status. Proactively identify and help resolve production or scheduling issues.
- Lead, support, and develop assigned direct reports, providing supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to build capability and support success in the role.
- Facilitate on-site meetings and maintain primary day-to-day communication with the customer to support project coordination and issue resolution
- Manage project cost control by monitoring budget to actual costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work; identify variances, support change order development and pricing, assist with negotiations as needed, and communicate margin impacts and cost-to-complete projections.
- Oversee project administration by preparing progress reports, submitting daily time sheets, documenting additional work, and writing project correspondence as directed.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including current drawings, specifications, schedules, inventory records, and other required reports.
- Lead coordination of materials and workflow by performing material takeoffs, and ordering materials, identify upcoming work, and ensure required materials, equipment, and tools are available.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Project Manager, Project Superintendent, customers, and project team to communicate progress, attend meetings, and support overall project execution.
- Direct workforce readiness through new hire orientation, training, construction safety, and QA/QC requirements.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or 3–5 years of verifiable on-the-job construction experience.
Travel Requirements:
APi is a national scope contractor working extensively across the Lower 48 and occasionally in Canada. Construction Management requires a full-time presence at the jobsite as determined by the company. Construction Management is typically required at most projects 6 to 24 months in duration.

- The role requires roughly 50% sitting and computer use and 50% standing, walking, or moving throughout the job site.
- Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights.
- Must be comfortable working in an active construction job site environment.
- Must be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings
- The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in plant environment

Salary Range:
Construction Manager 1: $73,600-$110,800
Construction Manager 2: $80,900-$121,400
