About the Department
The part-time maintenance position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and general maintenance of the Apex Tennis Center. The goal is to provide a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere for all facility users as directed by the facility manager.
Position Duties
- Must be 18.
- Duties might include vacuuming carpeted areas, cleaning floors, washing windows and walls, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms,
- emptying trash, and dusting surfaces.
- Assist with snow removal, sweep/wash sidewalks, and pick up trash on the tennis courts and facility grounds.
- Assist with set up and break down of facility rooms.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintenance.
Other Qualifications
- The work can be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- There are moderate to loud noise levels, along with occasional high vibrations.
- Workers may be exposed to fumes, odors, and dust.
- Need to be somewhat resilient to cleaning agents.
Physical Activity(s):- Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or sit on the floor as needed during activities or tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking loudly, when necessary, in noisy or outdoor environments.
