About the role
Your Mission:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to generate MQLs that fit our Ideal Client Profile (ICP):
Leo: CEOs/owners of $20M–$200M businesses—hungry, humble learners looking for exponential growth.
Simba: CEOs of $2M–$20M businesses with the same mindset but an earlier-stage company.
Your role is to attract, engage, and convert these high-caliber leaders through compelling marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics
1. Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) Generation
Goal: Generate [X] MQLs per month (defined in onboarding).
Develop and execute lead-generation campaigns across email, social media, paid ads.
Use marketing automation tools (ActiveCampaign, HubSpot) to nurture leads.
Track, analyze, and optimize campaigns to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
2. Content Development & Distribution
Goal: Publish [X] high-quality content pieces per month.
Create engaging content (blogs, emails, social posts, videos) that resonates with our ICP.
Leverage LinkedIn, email newsletters, and website to distribute content effectively.
Repurpose existing workshop materials and CEO insights into fresh, valuable content.
3. Social Media Growth & Engagement
Goal: Increase social engagement by [X]% per quarter.
Develop and execute a consistent social media strategy (primarily LinkedIn).
Actively engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and build brand awareness.
Monitor trends and adjust tactics to increase reach and engagement.
4. Data-Driven Campaign Optimization
Goal: Improve campaign ROI by [X]% within 6 months.
Analyze performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, CPL) and make data-backed recommendations.
Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush to refine targeting and content strategies.
Conduct A/B testing to optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
5. Strategic Alignment with ICP
Goal: Ensure messaging is perfectly aligned with CEO pain points and goals.
Work closely with the CEO to refine and evolve messaging that speaks directly to Leo & Simba.
Continuously update customer avatars based on campaign insights and ICP feedback.
Tools & Platforms You'll Use
Marketing Automation: ActiveCampaign, HubSpot (or similar).
Analytics & Optimization: Google Analytics, SEMrush.
Social Media Management: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.
Content Creation: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
Project Management: Asana, Trello, or ClickUp.
