Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an AP Microeconomics Tutor. The Tutor will deliver high-quality instruction in AP Microeconomics, ensuring students understand complex economic principles and are prepared for their exams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing tailored lesson plans, facilitating engaging virtual sessions, providing real-time feedback, addressing student queries, and guiding students to master AP-level content through performance analysis and personalized support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AP Microeconomics curriculum and ability to simplify complex concepts
• Strong communication and presentation skills for effective remote teaching
• Experience in creating personalized learning plans and providing real-time feedback
• Computer and technology literacy, including proficiency in using online learning platforms
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience in economics or related disciplines is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, education, or a related field (advanced degrees are an asset)
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
