Position Overview
Gide.ai is looking for a passionate and results-oriented faculty member to teach AP Microeconomics,
AP Macroeconomics, and AP Business and Personal Finance. The role involves delivering high-
quality classes, developing academic content, managing assessments, and ensuring outstanding
student outcomes and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Classroom Delivery
• Conduct live classes for AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Business and
Personal Finance.
• Conduct doubt-solving, revision, and remedial classes.
• Ensure high student participation and classroom engagement.
2. Content Development
• Develop classroom PPTs and instructional resources.
• Prepare assignments, worksheets, and revision materials.
• Create AP exam-oriented content aligned with College Board standards.
3. Assessment & Quiz Management
• Create and upload quizzes on the Gide platform.
• Design topic tests, unit tests, and full-length mock exams.
• Manage the complete test cycle and revision schedule.
• Analyse student performance and identify learning gaps.
4. Student Performance & Outcomes
• Track student scores and academic progress.
• Monitor AP readiness and student outcomes.
• Maintain performance reports and analytics.
5. Parent Communication
• Share periodic parent feedback regarding academic progress and attendance.
• Participate in parent meetings and counselling sessions.
• Address academic concerns and recommend action plans.
6. Student Experience
• Ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Support students with academic mentoring and guidance.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Business, or related
disciplines.
• Strong command over AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Business and
Personal Finance.
• Prior teaching and content development experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and EdTech platforms is desirable.
