Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an AP Economics and AP Computer Science Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality online tutoring sessions, creating engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs, and assisting them in grasping complex concepts in AP Economics and AP Computer Science. Additional responsibilities include evaluating student progress through assessments and providing constructive feedback to improve academic performance. The tutor will also support students in exam preparation, ensuring they gain confidence and mastery of the subject material.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in AP Economics and AP Computer Science, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with experience in engaging with high school students in an academic setting.
• Proficiency in preparing lesson plans and delivering online instructional sessions.
• Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to evaluate student performance and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
• Experience with curriculum frameworks, especially in advanced placement courses, is an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to students' schedules and learning styles, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
