About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outbound Sales Manager to lead our telephone-based team and drive revenue growth through strategic outbound calling. The ideal candidate requires exceptional leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve performance targets. This role requires a strong focus on coaching, optimisation of sales processes, and the implementation of best practise to enhance productivity and ensure customer satisfaction Key Responsibilities: Maximise conversion rate of outbound leads: Drive the conversion of outbound leads by ensuring prompt responses and guiding prospects effectively through the sales cycle to secure new business. Referral Process Execution: Ensure proper execution of the referral process between ANZ and ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions, optimising cross-functional collaboration and lead handling. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and motivate a high performing outbound telesales team, fostering a culture or accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. Performance Management: Monitor team performance metrics, providing regular feedback and coaching to team members to enhance skills and productivity. Team Retention and Recruitment: Drive team retention strategies while managing recruitment efforts to ensure the team is fully resourced and capable of hitting performance targets. Training and Development: Work with the coaching and performance manager to develop training initiatives to ensure that team members are well-equipped to meet performance goals. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create and deliver targeted training content. Sales Process Optimisation: Build and analyse outbound sales processes and implement improvements to streamline operations, enhance efficiency and increase conversion rates. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer needs. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, team achievements and strategic initiatives to senior management. Key Requirements: Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions based on performance insights. Effective Communication and Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships both with internal teams and clients. Commercial Instincts: Strong business acumen and understanding of the market, enabling you to make sound commercial decisions. People Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets, with a focus on both individual and team development. Quality and Process-Oriented: A commitment to delivering quality results through structured processes, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices. Sales Management Experience: Experience in managing both inbound and outbound sales teams, with a strong focus on revenue generation and team performance. Business Strategy Development: Experience in creating business development plans and revenue strategies that contribute to overall growth.
