About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the branch team, including branch operations, sales and customer service. You will also play a key role in driving business growth through proactive relationship management and the provision of quality advice and solutions to our customers. Key responsibilities include: • Overseeing the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the branch, including branch opening and closing, cash management, banking compliance and client servicing • Coaching, developing and motivating the branch team to deliver excellent customer service and drive business growth • Supporting the Branch Manager in leading and implementing branch strategies, budgets and performance targets • Driving the acquisition of new customers and growing existing customer relationships through proactive outreach and the provision of quality advice and solutions • Ensuring branch compliance with all relevant policies, processes and regulations • Deputising for the Branch Manager in their absence
