Anthesis’ Business Intelligence team (also known as Wallbrook) is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join a team of investigative and due diligence researchers based in our New York office. Anthesis’ business intelligence team provides leading global intelligence and compliance risk services, and specializes in enhanced due diligence investigations. Our team’s regional and sectoral expertise help the world’s foremost organisations make informed, ethical decisions about the professionals and businesses they work with, the assets they acquire, and where and how they operate. Some of the products the team offers to clients include integrity / reputational due diligence reports, compliance investigations, and litigation support. The successful candidate will have excellent qualitative research skills, be a naturally gifted writer, and display an innate sense of curiosity about international affairs, public policy and global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth online and open source research into companies and individuals, providing all source-analysis of reputational, compliance, and environmental / social / governance risks
- Demonstrate mastery of open source research tools such as LexisNexis, Factiva, PACER, Accurint, CLEAR, Tracers, etc.
- Retrieve and review court documents, regulatory filings, social media disclosures, and other online sources for indications of reputational risks / lack of probity
- Write concise, cogent summary reports; deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management on research findings
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines – often 48 hours or less – while maintaining quality and attention to detail
