Role Description The Ansys FEA Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The role involves performing finite element analysis (FEA) using Ansys for offshore and marine structures and components, including static, dynamic, and fatigue assessments. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing models, defining loads and boundary conditions, running simulations, and interpreting results to support design verification and optimization. The analyst will collaborate with structural and subsea engineering teams, prepare clear technical reports, and present findings to project leads and clients. Additional tasks include validating analysis against relevant codes and standards, maintaining analysis documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of analysis methodologies and templates.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Ansys FEA, structural analysis, and numerical modeling for offshore and marine structures.
- Candidates should possess skills in interpreting engineering drawings, applying relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., offshore and marine standards), and ensuring design integrity and safety.
- Candidates should possess skills in technical report writing, documentation of analysis procedures, and clear communication of results to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Marine, or Structural Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- Relevant experience in oil and gas, marine, or offshore engineering projects, particularly in structural or subsea analysis, is highly beneficial.
