Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ansys Analyst Engineer based in Delhi, India. The Ansys Analyst Engineer will perform finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation using ANSYS for offshore and marine structures, including jackets, topsides, risers, and mooring components. Day-to-day tasks include developing and validating engineering models, preparing load cases, running structural and fatigue analyses, and interpreting results to support safe and efficient designs. The role involves preparing technical reports, calculation notes, and documentation for internal reviews and client submissions, as well as coordinating with design, structural, and subsea engineering teams to integrate analysis outcomes into project deliverables. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of analysis methodologies and workflows, while adhering to relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in finite element analysis and simulation tools, particularly ANSYS, with experience applying FEA to offshore, marine, or structural engineering problems.
- Candidates should possess solid engineering fundamentals in structural mechanics, strength of materials, and dynamics, with the ability to analyze jackets, topsides, risers, or mooring systems under various load conditions.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, including the ability to validate models, interpret complex data, and provide clear engineering recommendations.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations, and for collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
