About Position:
We are looking for a highly experienced Ansible Automation Developer to lead infrastructure automation initiatives and drive adoption of configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. This role will act as a Subject Matter Expert in Ansible and the Ansible Automation Platform, enabling scalable, reliable, and secure automation across Linux and multi-platform environments.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end infrastructure automation using Ansible
- Define and drive automation strategies aligned with enterprise goals and modern IaC practices
- Manage and enhance Ansible Automation Platform including Tower, Private Automation Hub, and Event-Driven Ansible
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and reusable automation components
- Create and manage execution environments using ansible-builder and ansible-navigator
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and backline support for automation platform issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable automation solutions
- Promote best practices in automation, configuration management, and system provisioning
- Mentor teams and influence stakeholders to adopt automation-first approaches
- Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure performance, reliability, and efficiency
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong expertise in Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Tower, and playbook development
- Hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and configuration management practices
- Solid experience in Linux/Enterprise OS administration (preferably Red Hat-based systems)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Private Automation Hub and Event-Driven Ansible
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Podman
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Jinja2 templating
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite for provisioning and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of automation architecture, scalability, and high availability concepts
- Ability to manage and deliver complex infrastructure automation projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in driving process improvements and cross-team automation adoption
- Red Hat/Ansible certifications are highly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Relevant certifications in Ansible, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or automation technologies are a plus
