Annual Day Director

About the Role
Gyansthan Education Services is looking for a creative and dynamic Annual Day Director to conceptualize, plan, and execute a school's Annual Day production. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth artistic and operational execution of the event while working closely with students, school representatives, and the Gyansthan team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and direct the Annual Day production.
- Develop and write scripts in alignment with the theme and requirements of the school.
- Conduct rehearsals and train students for performances.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of stage direction and performance execution.
- Plan and supervise stage movements, blocking, and overall production flow.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders regarding costumes, props, and stage setup.
- Oversee lighting and sound requirements to ensure seamless execution during rehearsals and the final performance.
- Ensure that all performances are stage-ready and executed within the given timelines.
- Work collaboratively with school authorities, trainers, and the Gyansthan team to ensure the successful execution of the Annual Day.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in theatre, drama direction, event production, or Annual Day direction.
- Strong scriptwriting and creative conceptualization skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work with students across different age groups.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for theatre, performing arts, and experiential learning.
