Senior Data Architect

Annalect is a leading data and analytics company that is part of Omnicom Media Group. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable data solutions to support our clients' business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement enterprise-level data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines - Develop and optimize data models and schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval - Implement data security and governance policies to ensure data privacy and compliance - Collaborate with data engineering teams to build and maintain reliable and scalable data processing pipelines - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members - Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our data solutions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer - Proficient in designing and implementing data architectures using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) - Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with experience in designing dimensional and NoSQL data models - Familiarity with data governance and security best practices - Experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills
