across industries. We are expanding our AI team to accelerate innovation and build scalable solutions
for global markets.
Role Objective:
To design, develop, and validate hardware for Adiance's AI-powered CCTV cameras and surveillance
products — from schematic and PCB design through prototyping, testing, and production handover —
ensuring performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability targets are consistently met.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Hardware Design & Development
• Design schematics and PCB layouts for CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and related IoT surveillance
hardware.
• Select components (image sensors, ISPs, SoCs, power management ICs, connectors, IR LEDs, 4G/WiFi modules) based on performance, cost, and availability.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, schematics, layout files, and design documentation.
2. Prototyping & Bring-Up
• Build and bring up hardware prototypes; debug issues across power, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC.
• Conduct functional, stress, and reliability testing on new hardware designs in collaboration with the
Test & Validation team.
• Use lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, spectrum analyzer) to troubleshoot and
resolve hardware issues.
3. Design for Manufacturing
• Work closely with the Production and SMT teams to ensure designs are optimized for
manufacturability (DFM/DFT).
• Support pilot runs, NPI (New Product Introduction), and resolve production-stage hardware issues.
• Prepare assembly drawings, Gerbers, and test/inspection procedures for production handover.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate with firmware/embedded teams on hardware-firmware integration and bring-up.
• Work with vendors and component suppliers on sourcing, qualification, and alternate-part
evaluation.
• Support R&D in new product development and continuous improvement of existing products.
5. Compliance & Documentation
• Support certification activities (BIS, CE, FCC, etc.) as applicable for hardware products.
• Ensure designs meet safety, EMI/EMC, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Maintain design history files, test reports, and revision records for audits and traceability.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–7 years of experience in hardware/electronics design, preferably for IoT, CCTV, or consumer
electronics products.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar).
• Experience working with camera modules/image sensors, embedded microcontrollers (ARM, ESP32,
etc.), or similar hardware platforms.
• Working knowled ge of component sourcing, BOM management, and DFM/DFT practices.
• Hands-on experience with lab/test equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, logic
analyzer.
• Good understanding of SMT/PCBA assembly processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with R&D, Firmware, QC, and Production teams.
• Good communication skills and ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
Good to Have
• Hands-on experience designing or testing CCTV, IoT, or security products.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance processes and environmental/reliability testing standards.
• Research publications or a personal hardware/electronics portfolio (GitHub, Hackaday, etc.).
Why Join Adiance?
• Work on meaningful, real-world AI applications powering Made-in-India smart surveillance cameras.
• Opportunity to lead hardware innovation in a fast-growing tech company.
• Collaborative environment with cutting-edge tools and continuous learning.
• Freedom to innovate, experiment, and bring ideas to life.
