Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Animal Groomer, based in Gurugram. The Animal Groomer will provide grooming services, including bathing, trimming, and styling for pets of various breeds and sizes. Responsibilities include assessing each pet’s individual needs, ensuring their well-being, and providing a calm, secure, and stress-free experience. The role also involves maintaining grooming equipment, sanitizing workspaces, and communicating effectively with pet parents to understand their needs and provide updates on their pet’s experience. Collaborative care and a focus on animal welfare are central to all tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Animal Care, Pet Care, and understanding of Animal Welfare
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with pet parents and colleagues
- Empathy, patience, and an ability to create a calm environment for pets with diverse needs
- Experience in a grooming or veterinary setting is highly beneficial
- Physical stamina to handle and care for animals of varying sizes
- Knowledge of grooming tools and safety protocols
- A certification or formal training in pet grooming is an advantage
