Full-Time

Magnolia Veterinary Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our caring and committed ICU team. As a vital member of our hospital care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to animals requiring monitoring and treatments with mild to moderate conditions.

What You’ll Do:

Provide attentive, compassionate care to hospitalized dogs and cats
Monitor vital signs, observe patient behavior, and promptly report changes to veterinary staff
Provide clear, compassionate education to pet families,
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Maintain clean, comfortable, and safe environments for all patients
Assist with emergency intakes and treatments
Support veterinarians and technicians during procedures
Keep accurate medical records and documentation
Offer comfort and reassurance to pets and their owners during admissions

Schedule: 3 x 12 (8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.) per week

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting required
ICU and/or anesthesia experience preferred
Passion for animal and their humans
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Able to stay calm under pressure in emergency situations
Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs and be comfortable handling cats and dogs of all sizes

Pay Range

USD $16.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
