Role Description
This is a role for an Angular Developer. The Angular Developer will build and maintain responsive user interfaces for the adviser CRM and client portal, implementing new features and improving existing components. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end functionality with Angular and JavaScript, integrating with back-end APIs, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly experiences. The role also involves debugging issues, optimising performance, writing clean, testable code, and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality software. The developer will work closely with other engineers to support continuous improvement of the platform.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Angular 17 within a multi-tenant SaaS environment
- Build responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly user interfaces
- Implement state management using Angular Signals, RxJS, or NgRx
- Integrate REST APIs and perform client-side data transformation
- Optimise application performance using techniques such as lazy loading, efficient change detection, and code optimisation
- Follow and enforce Angular best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues across Web, Mobile, and Tablet devices
- Work with Micro Frontend architecture where applicable
- Integrate and maintain third-party libraries and services for rich text editing/reporting and e-signature workflows
- Build and maintain embedding solutions for embedding the application or its components into external/partner platforms
- Plan and execute Angular version upgrades from v17 onward (e.g., Angular 18 to 22) with minimal disruption, including dependency audits and breaking-change remediation
- Apply strong debugging skills to diagnose complex, intermittent, and environment-specific issues across the application stack
- Build dynamic, schema-driven forms with real-time validation and conditional field rendering
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including experience with Angular and JavaScript
- Understanding of back-end web development concepts and general software development practices
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.js or similar tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration between front-end and back-end services
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with familiarity in unit and integration testing
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in SaaS platforms is a plus
