Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup revolutionizing enzymatic biorefinery technology. Our platform converts non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes for industries like textiles and wastewater treatment, as well as advanced materials like cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable applications. Engineered specifically for Indian biomass, our solution ensures cost-efficient, scalable, and circular manufacturing while combating farm-waste burning and reducing reliance on imports. Role Description
We are seeking Angel Investors to join our team as Directors for Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. in a full-time, remote capacity. As a Director and Investor, you will actively participate in the strategic planning, business development, and scaling of our enzymatic biorefinery operations. Your insight and guidance will play an essential role in shaping the company's vision, spearheading partnerships, and ensuring our financial objectives are met. The role will also require evaluating opportunities, mentoring team members, and supporting efforts to drive innovation and market expansion.
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of biotechnology, industrial enzymes, or sustainable materials, with a passion for fostering innovation and sustainability
- Business acumen in identifying growth opportunities, managing investments, and scaling operations
- Experience in corporate strategy, venture funding, and financial planning
- Leadership and mentorship capabilities to guide a dynamic startup team
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, as well as sustainability and environmental impact metrics, is a plus
- Prior experience in startup ecosystems or green technology ventures will be regarded as an asset
- Proactive mindset, willingness to take calculated risks, and ability to provide strategic insights remotely
