Laboratory Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Commensurate with experience)Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Andrology Technician to join our fertility team in Panvel. The successful candidate will handle the diagnosis, processing, and preservation of semen samples for patients undergoing fertility treatments such as IUI, IVF, and ICSI. You will maintain high laboratory standards and ensure strict compliance with medical protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesSample Processing & AnalysisPerform routine and advanced semen analysis, checking count, motility, and morphology.Process semen samples for artificial insemination (IUI) and IVF/ICSI procedures.Conduct cryopreservation (freezing) and long-term storage management of specimens.Quality Control & ComplianceMaintain strict quality control (QC) logs and calibrate laboratory equipment daily.Ensure meticulous patient identification and sample labeling to prevent errors.Comply with NABL, ICMR, and clinical health and safety guidelines.Documentation & AdministrationRecord data accurately in physical registers and the electronic medical records system.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of consumable lab supplies.Correlate laboratory findings with patient history for review by the Embryologist/Andrologist.
Job RequirementsQualificationsEducation: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology), Biotechnology or Life Sciences.
Certification: Diploma in andrology and Embryology.Experience0 to 3 years of experience in an IVF clinic or healthcare diagnostics laboratory.Freshers with strong academic exposure to microscopy and biology are welcome to apply.Skills & CompetenciesHand-eye coordination for delicate sample processing under a microscope.Basic computer literacy for report generation and data entry.Empathetic communication skills for patient interaction and counseling.
