About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our Engineering Group, specializing in software security mitigation and vulnerability detection. In this role, you will be responsible for developing security mitigation features at both kernel and user space levels, ensuring the integrity and safety of our Android-based platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to review security designs, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement robust solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android OS, Linux kernel internals, and embedded programming, with a passion for enhancing device security and protecting against emerging threats. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputed institution, with a strong academic record. A master's or PhD degree is advantageous. Candidates must have at least 3 years (for Bachelor's degree holders), 2 years (for Master's), or 1 year (for PhD) of relevant work experience in software engineering, particularly with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Proficiency in Android OS, Linux kernel internals, and embedded systems is essential. Familiarity with security extensions like ARMv8/ARMv9, fuzzing tools such as Syzkaller, Trinity, or AFL, and automation scripting is highly desirable. Candidates should also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to independently drive features and resolve issues, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
As a Security Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing security mitigation features at both kernel and user space levels. You will analyze security design reviews, collaborate with technical teams to understand system architecture, and propose alternative design solutions to enhance device security.
