About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in Android OS and Linux kernel internals to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing security mitigation features and tools aimed at detecting and preventing vulnerabilities within our systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to review security designs, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions that enhance the security posture of our products. The candidate will work on both kernel and user space components, leveraging their deep understanding of Android security frameworks, Linux kernel internals, and embedded programming to ensure robust security measures are integrated into our platforms.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from a reputed institution, with a strong academic record. They should have a minimum of 3 years (for Bachelor's), 2 years (for Master's), or 1 year (for PhD) of relevant professional experience in software engineering, particularly with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Proven experience in Android OS, Linux kernel programming, and embedded development is essential. Familiarity with ARMv8/ARMv9 security extensions, fuzzing tools, and automation scripting will be considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently drive feature development and resolve complex security issues effectively.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include developing security mitigation features at both kernel and user space levels, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing systems. The engineer will work closely with security and technical teams to review security design proposals, identify vulnerabilities, and suggest alternative design solutions.
